SINOBOOM Set up an IPAF Training Centre

The Changsha-based factory in Hunan province is now an accredited IPAF training centre

SINOBOOM are excited to announce that IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) have certified the SINOBOOM factory in Changsha as an official IPAF training centre, with the certificate number 1083. This is a great honour for SINOBOOM with IPAF training being at the forefront of industry standards within the aerial work platform arena.



SINOBOOM first became in IPAF member in 2009 and has since maintained close contact with the organisation. This year alone, SINOBOOM have actively participated in both the IPAF Asia Pacific Summit, as well as the IPAF Middle East summit, both of which were opportunities to explore international work safety solutions with the industry.

The course also includes classroom-based training for the theory part of the test

 The SINOBOOM Training centre has a separate training classroom of 60 square meters, an indoor-operation training area of over 200 square meters and an outdoor-operation training field of 400 square meters.


SINOBOOM has always valued ongoing assistance and training with their customers in both China and globally and by offering the opportunity to produce highly qualified and knowledgeable high-altitude equipment operators, the training centre will create real value for customers.

Trainees will cover a range of important topics such as:

-IPAF safety concepts
-The importance of safe operation
-Understanding of how to safely work with aerial work platform equipment
-How to protect the safety of the operator and surrounding workers
-How to safeguard against accidents

IPAF Operator Training
Training content: Mobile aerial work platforms, scissor lifts (3a) and boom lifts (3b).
Course Duration: 2 days (3a \ 3b including theory, practice, examination)
Who should attend? Aerial work platform equipment operators who meet the physical health requirements of the IPAF Operator Safety Guide.
Training methods: IPAF theory training + IPAF operation training + theory test + operation test.
Training Outcome: Through training and after successfully passing the examination, IPAF will issue the operator a PAL card.
